| International Cultural

| A state institution established in 1991 in order to support cultural co-operation in the process of European integration. In 1992, the
Center organised the European Month of Culture Festival in Krakow. Research work is constantly carried out at the Institute of European Cultures and the Institute for Urban, Architectural and Monument Preservation Studies. International courses within the framework of the College for a New Europe are organised together with
Jagiellonian
University. The International Cultural
Center also acts as an organiser of exhibitions and a publisher.

| The European Academy Executive Secretariat

| The concept of the European Academy, housed in
a Renaissance villa constructed by
Justus Decius, was first presented at the Conference
on Security and Co-operation in Europe (CSCE)
organised in Krakow in 1991 and dealing with the cultural heritage of Europe.
The Academy is an institution for scholars, artists,
writers and translators who meet at the Villa
to participate in international seminars,
conferences and courses.

Center for Jewish Culture

| Opened in December 1993, located in Kazimierz,
the historic Jewish district of Krakow.
Operates under the auspices of
the Judaica Foundation with the goal to protect
and popularize Jewish culture by means of conferences,
lectures, exhibitions, concerts, films and publications.
The Center possesses a multi-functional hall,
a library, a gallery and a café.

| Is the largest and most significant student club in
Krakow, and the organiser of many important cultural events,
including the Festival of Avantgarde Theatres, Paka Cabaret Review, Academic Culture
Forum, Festival of Miniature Jazz Forms Solo-
Duo-Trio and more. The Center's building houses a theatre, cinema
and concert hall.

| The regional Cultural
Center holds educational and promotional activities (courses,
meetings, consultations and lectures), artistic activities ( exhibitions, concerts, cultural
events). It operates a Cultural Information Telephone Line.

| A
major cultural center with educational and artistic programmes.
It organises city events like Podgórze Cultural Autumn, and
all-Poland events, like M. Wieczysty Dance Tournament, the
Polish Festival of Animated Films. The Center's structure
includes: the Rękawka Gallery, the Pharmacy Pod Orłem
(Under the Eagle) museum and two local cinemas.

| A major cultural
center running numerous educational
programmes. It specialises in artistic and production
activities. Its music ensembles, dance groups
and individual sections participate in numerous
international reviews and festivals. The Center also organises festivals including
a ballet festival, International Ballet Encounters. International cooperation includes
a cultural exchange programme with
the Gemeinschaftshaus in Nuremberg and Hungary.

| A major cultural
center managing not only
educational activities but also artistic ones, often
operates as a producer or co-producer in organising
festivals and concerts. It specialises in music, painting and sculpture workshops for
children and young people. International cooperation includes France and Great Britain.
It also houses the Sinfonietta Cracovia orchestra and the KTO Theatre performs at the
Center.

| A cultural
center which specialises
in organising small-audience
meetings, evenings and concerts promoting
the achievements of Krakow's
artists. Traditionally, the Center promotes new
publications on the market.

| A major cultural education
center. It also operates: Information Center for the Young, Artistic Impresario Office,
Travel Agency for Young People. Well developed Polish and foreign contacts enable
the Center to organise enterprises like:
International Educational Symposium or the Krakowiak Folklore
Festival.

| An important cultural education
center. It operates mainly in the area of theatrical education
and promotes the amateur theatre movement. Since 1987, it manages a permanent theatre "I" for children and
teenagers. An important part of its activities is an exchange
of teachers and theatre groups with other countries. It is a member of International Society of Theatres for Children and Teenagers.
