| The largest exhibiting art gallery in
Krakow. The International Print Triennial is held here. The regular activity of the gallery is the organisation of thematic and monographic exhibititions which include all modern trends of Polish and foreign artists, including: Jerzy
Nowosielski, Henry Moore and Jan Tarasin. Along with exhibitions, the gallery promotes outstanding young artists.

| The Art Nouveau building, erected in 1901 for the
Krakow Society of Friends of Fine Arts, has a tradition of exhibiting the best known Polish artists. It presently houses temporary
expositions. Since 1991 exhibitions of Gilbert and George, Gustaw Klimt and other world
famous artists have been organised here.

| The
Center for the Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor conducts archival exhibition, and publishing activities. It organises Polish-foreign exhibitions and conferences devoted to
Kantor. In its galleries temporary exhibitions of drawings, scenographic projects, and photographic documentation from experiments and shows are held.

| The gallery programme is mainly tied to the presentation of artistic phenomena of fin de

| The gallery of the Union of Polish Artists and Designers has been open since 1968 in the so-called "Dom Plastyków" - a modernistic house built 1928-34 to the designs of the well-known
Krakow
architect, Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz. It houses exhibitions of the Union members and the Union's international partners.

| The traditions of this place
reach back to the early 1930s, when students of the Krakow Academy of Fine
Arts established an avant-garde artistic society, the Krakow Group. From
1958 Tadeusz Kantors Cricot 2 Theatre had its headquarters here. In the same
year the Krakow Group was remodelled and their gallery was opened in the
cellars of the Krzysztofory Palace. The gallery presented the abstract,
informal surrealistic paintings of the group members, including those of
Maria Jarema, Tadeusz Brzozowski, Jonasz Stern, and Janina Kraupe-Świderska. traditions of this place reach back to the early 1930s, when students of

| This gallery presents the work of the
"Krakow Group" artists, classic geometric abstraction, and promotes excellent artists of the younger generation. The gallery has organised exhibitions at home and abroad of such artists as Tadeusz
Kantor, Tadeusz Brzozowski, Jerzy Nowosielski, and Jan Tarasin. Andrzej Starmach is also a well-known
organizer of art auctions.

| The gallery of the Foundation of St.
Volodymyr, Baptiser of Kievan Ruś is housed in a 14th-century palace, rebuilt in the early 16th century in a Gothic-Renaissance style. A permanent collection of 17th- to 19th-century icons is on display, as well as temporary exhibitions, primarily of Ukrainian art.

| Opened in 1985. The gallery began as a place of presentation and discussion of the newest artistic trends, and to this day has remained open to innovations in art. Over the past 11 years Marta Tarabuła has organised over 100 exhibitions, performances, installations, video screenings and lectures. Many interesting debuts and "great comebacks" of older artists have taken place here.
